April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the featured exhibit, “What Were You Wearing” challenges the victim-blaming myth that choice of clothing can become an invitation for assault. The exhibit features narratives and re-creations of outfits based on survivors’ experiences. Viewers are invited to reconsider what the long-held beliefs of sexual assault are and challenge the victim-blaming behavior that often accompanies these incidents of violence.

A special thank you to the exhibit hosts: The Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being, CARE, and Wildcats Make a Pact for their dedication to awareness. The exhibit is sponsored by the Union Program Council, the K-State Student Union, and Student Programs & Involvement.
